MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL SERVICES
Gas fired warm air heating or cool air circulation with automatic smoke vents or natural ventilation to main hall area.
 
Lighting -  sodium and fluorescent lighting to main hall with emergency system on central battery.
 
Electrical Connections -  There is a 450 kva supply available to the building (with 2 phase provision). Distribution is via buz-bar to the perimeter walls and overhead supplies are available to any point over the floor area.

-  There is a mains connection charge made by National Electric Company who are our official contractors and they are responsible for all low voltage electrical supplies within buildings at the centre:
  • connection to electrical main consumer unit
  • price of electricity consumed
  • standby electrician for mains only
  • testing and inspection of other contractors installations
 
-  National Electric can provide a full electrical service, contact Norman Looker 01203 696601/696605.
 
-  Catenary wires are required to take electricity to stands away from the walls, this is an additional charge by the electrical contractors.
 
Calor Gas -  23 calor gas connections on inside of external walls. No gas containers are allowed inside the Hall.
 
Extraction -  Air extraction points are located at 23 locations on east and west walls primarily useful as cooking extracts for food preparation sites.

WATER AND WASTE
There are 51 floor pits which provide a water supply and drainage connection centred on a grid system over the whole exhibition area.
 
COMMUNICATION SERVICES
Public Address Systems -  provided and controlled from main organisers office.
 
Telephones -  Telephone connections can be provided from overhead to any point over the hall floor.
    One telephone located in main organisers office.
    Public telephones in rear foyer BT card phone.
 
Fax Facilities -  can be arranged via the Stoneleigh Park Operations Manager.
 
SAFETY AND HYGIENE
Fire Fighting -  all pedestrian doors are fire exits with alarm points and a full provision of various fire extinguishers.
     
    Fire extinguishers may not be removed. Storeroom door may be blocked with stands.

Restaurant -  available by arrangement with Stoneleigh Park Catering
